About

Throughout history, more than as a border separating territories, the Mediterranean Sea has acted as a communication network that connects a melting pot of peoples and cultures. The legacy of this connection in the form of archaeological heritage illustrates how the nature of relations between communities in the past, especially in the period of Antiquity during which the commercial and cultural exchanges of Phoenicians, Greeks and indigenous people, completely transformed these Mediterranean communities.
