Tasneem Lohani

I am an interdisciplinary artist and facilitator based in Bengaluru. My artistic practice deals with issues of disembodiment and alienation in digital social media communication and its correlation to mental health and physical illness in our contemporary techno-capitalist society. A large part of my artistic practice is creating experiences in which to ponder over these issues and I think through this often in the form of exhibition-making. I work with Sound, Video, Performance and Drawing on paper.  I have shown my work widely in UK and India. And have worked as an arts facilitator at multiple art institutions such as the Somerset House, Victoria and Albert Museum and Furtherfield Gallery.
