This work, made in London, maps a sonic story of a cyborgian human with Social Anxiety.In our world today audio content is very popular.The tools we use to consume this content, which extend our human capabilities, interest me in this work. Earphones, noise-cancelling headphones etc. form isolation bubbles and sonically disconnect us from our lived environments. So I am interested in the intimacy of sound and yet it's capacity to isolate. And the effect sonic disassociation can have on human sociability and communication. To me, it appears that disassociation from the very sound of Humans around us could alter our sense of communion and social behaviour possibly leading us to Social Anxiety.
