Circus was one of Oliva's favourite themes in the 80s. Evoking the reality that surrounded him through the allegory of a circus tent became an obsession. Each character in the complex framework of the show had its equivalent in real life, and in the society of its time. It appeared as if the world had been turned into a great theatre where we all played a role and Pedro Pablo was enjoying himself from the stands, like another observer in the audience.
