Childhood is a recurring theme in Oliva's work. A child sleeps on a tricycle. What dreams? Many remember Pedro Pablo in his childhood as a dreamer. "Piti", as he was called in his neighborhood -cubanization of "Petit", character of a popular radio soap opera of the time, Los Angeles de la calle-, that skinny guy who obsessively scribbled school notebooks and wanted to become a cartoonist , a pair of wings was built to fly. The young Pablo returns years later to those childhood dreams, turned into Don Quixote.
