Welcome to the first chapter / chapter #1 of Faerian! Founded and curated by Cynthia Mayer, Faerian is the first fantasy-focused art gallery and community. An experienced product manager, UX researcher, and website designer Cynthia is now merging her childhood passion of fantasy art with her professional skills. The exhibition presents 19 artworks by 5 talented digital artists. They’ve been painting digital & traditional artworks for more than a decade and their works have been featured in the famous card deck Magic the Gathering, as well as video games, RPGs and book covers. More than presenting a new fantasy story, the first chapter of Faerian on the theme of “Light” invites us to reflect on the meaning of light through a window to another world. Light and darkness, goodness and evil, hope and despair: these have never been harder to differentiate than today.
