Dorian D. Agüero takes the cow, an animal that has marked the referential world of Cubans, as the starting point of a metaphor about the not always satisfied effort to feed a people. Just because one cow, just one cow, produces a lot of milk does not mean that all the others can achieve that productivity. But the desire to multiply the loaves and fishes can make us go to extremes With little concealed sarcasm, the artist focuses on the udders of cattle, the source of food; and evoking certain experiments that took place in Cuba years ago with the aim of increasing milk production, which came to seem surreal, he establishes a parallel between the absurdities of reality and his artistic recreation in certain stylistic currents. Any resemblance to great masters of 20th century painting, assumed in the act of deconstructing a cow's udder, is no accident. It is the express intention of the artist.
