The National Museum of Serbia, located in Belgrade, is a complex museum dedicated to preserving, interpreting and promoting layered, multicultural heritage of Central Balkan and Europe - through archaeological, numismatic, and artistic materials. The building was built in 1903 and it is imagined in the spirit of eclecticism, dominated by Neo-Renaissance elements. The National Museum building in Belgrade is under protection as a cultural asset of great importance for the Republic of Serbia.
