National Museum in Sabac, located in western Serbia, preserves more than 120.000 objects within its historical and archeological departments keeping the numismatic, artistic and ethnographic collections. The materials date from prehistoric period until the late 20th century, giving the complete experience of the common life and the context of the Balkan region. Built in the 1857 as a masterpiece of classical architecture, the building is now a protected cultural heritage of great national importance.
