O3ONE Art Space

Project O3ONE is an independent multimedia interactive art project which aims to encourage creativity and cultural diversity through the innovative cultural production. Invention, communication and innovation are imperatives of the project which continually expands readiness to accept new and different. O3ONE aims to present contemporary art scene, to give a new meaning and importance to the local art production and to improve and encourage the exchange of ideas with art centres from all over the world. By positioning modern art and culture within different social groups, this project brings better understanding and closer contact with the wider audience, where jointly – artists and the audience, in an open dialogue, create an integral whole. During seventeen years of its existence, O3ONE presented local public with an inspiring program. More than 800 exhibitions and art happenings were realized in a cooperation with the local and international artists, curators and critics, cultural institutions from the country and abroad, and prestigious Belgrade festivals and manifestations. Programme structure of O3ONE envelops a multitude of artistic and educational activities and involves guests from the country and abroad. Diverse forms of artistic expression (fine art, design, photography, new media, performances, sound and ambience installations, film, theater, fashion and other experimental forms) are presented in a form of exhibitions, seminars, workshops, presentations, discussions, promotions, festivals, professional practice works… O3ONE is adapted to the contemporary way of life, it is dynamic in realization of the programmes which are not conceptually nor aesthetically connected, programmes which are entertaining, explorative or provocative, all with one goal - to give support for daring and challenging concepts of innovative artists, not considering their age, regardless if they’re famous or not. O3ONE is a place where boundaries are pushed, by artists as much as by the audience.
