張中柱在畫作上放置一隻死蟬，一片漆黑中透出點點筆觸，彷彿在浮躁時代中寂然地悼念逝去的一切。在另一組作品中，他以絲印創作強調重複性，每次撕貼都構成下一次撕貼的軌跡，猶如他與版畫之間的對話。 Cheung Chung-chu places a dead cicada on his painting. Upon closer look, tiny dots appear amidst darkness. Silently, every stroke mourns for the past during turbulent times. In another set of work, Cheung highlights repetition in his screenprint; each tear-off constitutes the trajectory of the next, as if there is a conversation between the artist and the print.
