Two crew members are in custody for a mutiny that was caused by an unscheduled change of voyage. They think the mutiny has failed because of the lack of sympathizers and an inside traitor. It was later known that the real cause of mutiny was the conflict over one book between Aethon and Nyctimene, and it was not settled and getting worse. The real story behind events can be easily manipulated and a totally different story can be made from the same event. The true history of humans is built from events analyzed by someone who is eager to complete their identities and strengthen the community they belong to. We live in the same events, but to be told that we lived a different history.
