Getting towards the end of the long-running dispute between the two families, and Alkonost proposed a peace treaty to another family. On the day to be supposed to sign the treaty, the other family does not show up, and they were attacked and their parents were killed. It would be right to say that it is a reasonable reaction to the hidden code of the treaty rather than betrayal. The details of the treaty are not known, but It is said that it was because one word was interpreted as different nuances of two families using different languages.
