My painting expresses the pain caused by my father's deportation. It depicts an image of my father, whose stoicism belies the sadness expressed in his eyes. Understanding how controversial this topic is, I do not portray the underlying structure of our immigration system, but rather shed light on his story. Instagram | @analinda_rose_art
