My proposal consists of a visual manipulation of certain formal codes with an evidently “Erotic” aesthetic that at first glance suggest and condition the viewer's ability to perceive in relation to the content of the piece. Essentially the work is designed with elements taken from my own body (Hands, feet, neck, etc.) combined with elements from everyday life (Fruits, vegetables and others) generating a discourse between the morbid and the jovial that sometimes invites irony. and the double meaning….this last resource (The humorous) together with the format of the piece forms a fundamental component when interacting with the work. From a formal point of view I am interested in being close to apparent large volumes that form an important part of my training as a sculptor.
