Seeds of Change
This artwork is about discovering the importance of mother nature and modern environmental issues. The lack of colour and muted texture of the natural surfaces as well as the human head statue at the top are to represent human’s impact on our earth, such as global warming and pollution, taking away nature’s beauty and liveliness. The woman portrayed is blended with the environment to show that we as human nature are slowly being affected by our own behaviours. The artwork spotlights the society’s relationship with waste and worth through her body language of being suffocated and consumed by our doings.
