In lieu of travel, there are mindful escapes into art, nature, the imagination, music and books. Rocky Trail is a papier mache artwork painted with abstract textures, an atmospheric movement of wind and water flowing in a rocky landscape. Wandering along a trail and imagining the geo strata and escape of a mountain view up to the clouds. Sources of inspiration I've mapped together in an Augmented Reality project ""Artefact Discovery Trail"". Animated with digital line work in procreate and drawings in photoshop. With memories of art residencies in mountains like the Dolomites, Italy & a swallow drawing from Arraiolos, Portugal. While thinking about words from On Trails by Robert Moor.
