The piece constitutes a symbolic representation of the powerful Yoruba deity, Oshún, revered for its influence on love, fertility and beauty, as well as for being a symbol of abundance and prosperity. The image is part of the "Mythical Souls" series, where I use portraiture as an expressive medium offering a reflection on the depth of the soul and its connection with the divine. My project is to transform triviality into poetry, beyond simple perception.
