Multiple Encounters
Etching and Serigraphy on paper
76 x 101 cm
“Multiple Encounter” is a conceptual and technical amalgamation – where the word itself is the subject and develops a relation between all forms. As print is a result of the transfer of one surface to another, there is a multiplicity in the process, which I also find happening in our society. Any relation is an encounter and it is generally multiple in nature. The growth of a work and travel of time and space is also a matter of existence in multiples. The use and intentional reuse of drawings and creating new forms is somewhat like a relationship between one and another in our society. I find a tremendous relation between layers in my prints like the layers in our society and time and space.
