Mother / Madre
Vynil on acrylic
115 x 115 cm
MADRE seeks to weave layers within a visual narrative, using landscapes and time as a common thread. By deconstructing landscapes to reclaim the significance of each fragment, it symbolically raises the idea of nature's value and how a deep, detailed observation allows us to establish connections. It consists of 98 panoramic 360° views developed from natural Cuban landscapes, exploring from a geometric, optical, and color theory perspective the unity that simulates eternity—circles without beginning or end, in constant movement and transformation—while MADRE retains its essence.
