"There is only idea in things" On August 25, 2020, tropical storm Laura passed through the east of the country, specifically through the south of the province of Santiago de Cuba. El Cobre, the place where I live, is located in the south 20 kilometers from the Caribbean Sea, relatively close to the Mar Verde beach, the path through which the storm traveled, so it was much more vulnerable to Laura's winds. It all begins the next morning when I went out with my camera to record the traces of its passage. On my tour, I come across a surprising find from my visual experience, a pole split in half, where one of its parts seemed to be floating upright in the middle of the street supported by telephone line cables.
