Farmer and his donkey I found in Greece as I traveled to the next town. Got out of the car pointing to my camera indicating I wanted to make a picture and he responded with a “thumps up.” Did not do anything with the image for years except in my mind. Was introduced to a new software and immediately remembered this image from the past. There are at least a few thousand variations available within the software and I spent weeks going through most of them; however, every new digital file opens the door to an endless volume of combinations. “Long Day,” is a creative mixture, a bouillabaisse of sorts, using acquired skills, both analog and digital, to form this impressionistic moment in time.
