The structure of the piece is a commemorative plaque and an audio system located behind it. The plaque tells the story of a French firefighter and his participation in the resistance against Nazism. The audio contains laughter (from Cuban citizens), which is heard when approaching the work. The aim is to create a contrast between the solemn character of the plate and the audio, to show a joke attitude in a complicated moment and context. This piece belongs to a set of works that intend to be a tribute to all the people who confronted and resisted a certain regime.
