>scroll down for English version< Après le festival Label Valette, Nikola a participé au programme du festival Quai 36. Urban Art Paris, l'organisation en charge de ce festival, a pour objectif de contribuer à la communauté locale et d'embellir certains des quartiers mal famés de Paris. Cette peinture monumentale sur la façade principale du bâtiment est le fruit d’une réflexion et de recherches sérieuses. Après des années d'expérimentation de différentes approches de l'expression abstraite, Nikola pensait avoir trouvé l'équilibre parfait entre ses pensées et le résultat visuel. L'œuvre originale devait avoir des tons légèrement plus sombres, mais après la suggestion des organisateurs, il a opté pour des tons plus clairs. Il était très satisfait du résultat. Ensuite, il s'est rendu à certaines des expositions présentées à Paris à l'époque et, après avoir vu en personne certains de ses artistes préférés, il a compris que cette phase de son expression artistique était terminée. Par conséquent, l'œuvre réalisée pour le festival du Quai 36 était le point culminant de la dernière série et représentait un tournant dans son style. After the Label Valette festival, Nikola participated in the Quai 36 festival program.eUrban Art Paris, the organisation that is in charge of this festival, has a goal to contribute to the local community and to embellish some of the not-so-pretty parts of Paris. This monumental painting on the main facade of the building was the product of serious research and thought. After years of experimenting with different approaches to abstract expressionism, Nikola thought he had found the perfect balance between his thoughts and the visual output. The original artwork was supposed to have slightly darker tones, but at the suggestion of the organisers he opted for the lighter ones. At the moment he finished the piece he was very satisfied. After that, he went to some of the exhibitions on display in Paris at that time and after experiencing some of his favourite artists in person, he understood that this phase of his artistic expression was over. Therefore, the piece that was made for the Quai 36 Festival was the pinnacle of the last series and represented the turning point in his style.
