>scroll down for English version< En 2017, Kaldea et TKV se sont rencontrés à Zagreb, en Croatie, lors du festival Meeting of Styles. Ce fut le début d'une longue amitié et d'une collaboration artistique productive. L'année suivante, TKV a lancé un nouveau festival à Belgrade, All Girls Street Art Jam, et a invité Kaldea à se joindre à elle lors de la première édition. Ce festival offre une visibilité aux femmes graffeuses et artistes de rue et leur permet d'établir un réseau de soutien afin qu'elles s’approprient l’espace public. Quand Kaldea est venue à Belgrade, elle s'est également rendue à Novi Sad, où elle a réalisé des travaux intéressants dans le cadre d'un programme de l'Institut français. Kaldea a commencé en peignant sur les conteneurs et les voitures de la casse de Stuttgart et lorsqu'elle a eu l'occasion de peindre une véritable voiture qui se déplaçait dans la ville, elle a décidé de continuer à travailler dans l’espace public. Elle s'intéresse également au théâtre kabuki et à la culture japonaise en général, si bien que ses personnages ont une forte connotation japonaise. Elle n'était pas adolescente lorsqu'elle a commencé à faire de l'art dans les rues et n'a reçu aucune éducation artistique ; faire du street art était donc une décision délibérée de sa part. Aujourd'hui, elle est l'une des artistes féminines les plus compétentes en matière d'utilisation de la bombe aérosol dans le domaine du street art en Europe : sa technique est irréprochable. In 2017, Kaldea and TKV met in Zagreb, Croatia, during the Meeting of Styles festival. This was the beginning of a long friendship and a productive artistic collaboration. The following year, TKV started a new festival in Belgrade, All Girls Street Art Jam, and invited Kaldea to join her at the first edition. The idea behind the festival was to allow the female graffiti and street artists to work more, to be visible and to establish a support network so that they could feel that the streets were theirs as well. As soon as Kaldea started coming to Belgrade, she visited Novi Sad as well and did some interesting work there as part of a programme at the French Institute. She first started painting on the containers and cars at a scrap yard in Stuttgart, and when she got an opportunity to paint a car that was moving around the city, she decided that streets were the way to go. Now, she is also interested in kabuki theatre and Japanese culture in general, so her characters have a strong Japanese undertone. She was not a teenager when she started doing art in the streets and she did not have any form of art education, so doing street art was a conscious decision for her. Now, she is one of the most proficient users of spray cans among female artists on the European street art level. Her technique is impeccable.
