Media Luna is a municipality in Granma. It is also our original settlement, the town where we grew up and that has marked our artistic production since the beginning. Our poetry has been defined from the constant relationship with craftsmanship, the organic nature of the plant world and the enhancement of objects that are an essential part of the daily activity and the subsistence of that community that is sustained by agriculture rural. A distinctive element in the new pieces is the frequent use of cassava as the central material of the works. Its use appeals to the desire to pay homage to the primitive and indigenous, which is frankly interrelated with a vision of nature and a sensitive understanding of the world in which the objects we present are built.
