ENVIROMENT “View of the artist's workshop.” From the series: The time of art, are paintings where the different technical possibilities of gestural art are explored from the instinctive, as a creative impulse, and where the moment of creation of the work plays, as a gesture, a leading role, being a stage determining factor in the process of image construction, which is why it is in turn associated with the time of art itself. The figure of the horse as a symbolic element refers to the act of movement through space, time and dimensions, represented with the artist's own hand and footprint as part of that unique moment. The references to classic images or styles from the history of art aim to recreate a visual cycle that is fed back from the support of art and its ways of making and conceiving, which is why allusions to the classical art, surrealism, automatism, expressionism, abstractionism among other pictorial currents.
