Seen as the central epicenter of our life, as a tacit sign of our existence, the human body ends up being, in the long run, the only real planet where the rest of the components that make up the universe come together. It is not just a temple or tangible matter full of organs with vital functions, it is also a metaphor for the intangible, a manifest projection of the deeply spiritual and a tangible mirror of our capacity for resistance and dignity of the years we have lived. This work (self-portrait) is a piece thought out, felt, made as a visual poem, whose discourse opens to the amalgam of interpretations that each viewer will draw from. The semiotic, subliminal, metaphorical and conceptual that is reflected in the human subject goes beyond that backbone that women tend to be when in daily life, we carry the weight of everything that overwhelms and occupies us, and we face without ceasing. a drop of will to grow and strength that we raise in the face of all the real difficulties we experience.
