Texture play as the main purpose of this art, we explored the contrast between two opposing materials - lace and metal. Lace being one of the most delicate types of fabrics, it represents the fragility and the beauty of human nature. The rigid, opaque surfaces of metal against the soft, delicate lace represents the conflicting and ever-changing persona we show to others. The lace covering the surface of the face accentuates feminine beauty and at the same time acts as a facade where you build a resilient and strong self in front of others yet internally hiding your sensitive side.
