Cyberoeuvre et musée is an essay on the historical and recent dynamics between the museum and net art. Since 1995, how have museums prepared or reacted to net art, both economically, politically and socially? This essay looks at how museums collect, preserve and show net art to understand what digital transformation means for museums and net art, because it isn't as simple as it sounds. Throughout the essay, we discover the tension between large museums and the emergence and rapid growth of net art between 1995 and Today.
