"The disease is the effort of Nature to heal the person." Our world in metamorphosis makes us continually face situations that force us to adapt quickly. Luckily we have an amazing innate ability to assimilate the cycles of nature, adjust to them and allow ourselves to be shaped. As strange as it may seem, even diseases are a factor of growth and adaptation to the environment. Through them, we are forced to modify our lifestyle, our attitudes and priorities, to achieve an internal and external balance. Undoubtedly, another important factor for change and development is the home. It can mean protection or danger; relief or stress; a family bosom or a war field. In any case, it is a source of inspiration for many artists. Personally, moving from one place to another has been like my family's illness, and we have had to build defenses against it. This time of global crisis has allowed me to realise the need to have my own land, to call home. That is why in these paintings, in which I harmonise reality with fiction, I intend to create an illusory space that evokes the home in symbiosis with nature. After all, wherever I go, she will always be a part of me. They represent my space, the refuge against the disease of instability. These home corners turned fiction, exist in my mind and in the desire to regain my property, and to satisfy the need for integration into an environment. I materialise this idea, experimenting with Animal Print designs. To do this, I explore the formal possibilities offered by the colors and patterns of animal bodies, to build surfaces that harmonise with the architecture of the place.
