КОЛОРИСТИЧКЕ ВИЗИЈЕ Међу плејадом уметника између два светска рата истакнуто место заузео је Петар Добровић чије ће сликарско дело добити печат модерности у сазревању боја наклоњених јединственом колоризму. Изложбом Колористичке визије посетиоцу се отвара могућност да види баш она дела која карактерише острашћена боја, блештава светлост, оптимизам и динамична непосредност која је својствена не само делу већ и карактеру овог сликара. Колоризам ће га одредити као једног од најутицајнијих српских уметника, оних који су предводили савремене токове у сликарству. Петар Добровић је смело тражио свој ликовни израз, а након монументалног стила, утицаја Сезана и кубизма, окреће се чистој боји која је одговарала његовој страственој природи. Откривао је један радостан свет испуњен светлошћу, жарким колоритом и лепотом. Посебно ће га чести боравци на јадранској обали надахнути да слика слободно, препуштен снажним емоцијама и инстиктима. Постаје сликар Медитерана и летњих призора које ствара у славу природе. Морски предели су надахнули уметника да мотивима маслина, чемпреса и борова, користећи интензивне боје, пренесе снажна и страствена осећања. Сирова и јарка боја постаје његово основно изражајно средство, не само на делима насталим на приморју, већ наставља да је истражује и усавршава у фрушкогорском циклусу на градским пределима из Венеције и Холандије, сликајући тоновима тих поднебља. Богатство сликарског рукописа, начин компоновања слике и колористичка снага, удаљавање од миметичког, чине да његова дела имају све одлике модернизма. __________ ENG Coloristic Visions Among the constellation of artists between the two world wars, Petar Dobrović took a prominent place, whose painting will be given the stamp of modernity in the maturation of colors inclined to unique colorism. The exhibition of Coloristic Visions gives the visitor an opportunity to see the very works which are characterized by intense color, dazzling light, optimism and dynamic immediacy, which is inherent not only to the work but also to the character of this painter. The colorism will define him as one of the most influential Serbian artists, of those who led contemporary trends in painting. Petar Dobrović bravely searched for his artistic expression; after the monumental style and the influence of Cézanne and cubism, he turned to the pure color, suited to his passionate nature. He discovered this joyful world full of light, bright colors, and beauty. Frequent stays at the Adriatic coast would especially inspire him to paint freely, succumbing to the powerful emotions and instincts. He becomes the painter of the Mediterranean and summer sights, created to celebrate nature. The seaside landscapes inspired the artist to convey powerful and passionate emotions through the motifs of olive, cypress, and pine trees painted in intense colors. Raw and bright color becomes his basic means of expression not only in the artworks created at the seaside but also in the paintings from the Fruška Gora Cycle and the city sights of Venice and Holland, where he continues to explore and improve it through the tones of their corresponding climates. The richness of visual handwriting, the manner of composing the painting, the coloristic might, and the distancing from the mimetic indicate that his works possess all the traits of modernism. __________ FRA Visions de couleurs Parmi la pléiade d'artistes de l'entre-deux-guerres, Petar Dobrović occupe une place à part. Son œuvre picturale est marquée du sceau de la modernité par l'usage de la couleur au profit du seul colorisme. L'exposition Visions de couleurs donne au spectateur l'occasion de voir des œuvres qui se définissent par d'intenses couleurs, une lumière éblouissante, un optimisme et une énergie qui caractérisent non seulement l'œuvre, mais aussi l'homme. Le colorisme fait de lui l'un des artistes serbes les plus influents de son temps, de ceux qui ont été à l'origine de nouvelles tendances dans la peinture contemporaine. Avec audace, Petar Dobrović cherche son style, d'abord dans la peinture monumentale, puis sous l'influence de Cézanne et du cubisme, avant de se tourner vers la couleur pure, un mode d'expression qui correspond à sa nature passionnée et où il découvre un monde joyeux rempli de lumière, de couleurs vives et de beauté. Les séjours fréquents qu'il effectue sur la côte adriatique le conduisent à peindre avec plus de liberté, à se laisser aller à des émotions fortes, et à se fier à son instinct. Il devient le peintre des scènes d'étés méditerranéens réalisées en hommage à la nature. Dans ces paysages marins, à travers les motifs d'oliviers, de cyprès et de pins aux couleurs intenses, l'artiste transmet des sentiments forts et passionnés. La couleur brute et lumineuse devient son principal moyen d'expression, non seulement dans les œuvres peintes sur la côte, mais aussi dans le cycle des peintures de la Fruška Gora et des vues urbaines de Venise et de Hollande où il continue d'explorer et d'améliorer son style en utilisant des tons correspondants à ces paysages. La richesse de l'écriture visuelle, la manière de composer le tableau, la puissance du colorisme et l'éloignement du mimétisme, confèrent à ses œuvres toutes les caractéristiques de la peinture moderniste.
