The hypogea of La Mula are a set of rock-cut tombs from the Punic period of Puig des Molins that have been adapted for visitors. Originally, the hypogea were closed structures formed by a shaft and a burial chamber. Since ancient times, the walls of the hypogea have been pierced to facilitate looting of the tombs, resulting in the labyrinthine appearance of the hypogea that we see today.
