麥穎森 Sammi Mak Wing-sum

麥穎森，生於香港，畢業於香港浸會大學視覺藝術院。作品以版畫及油畫為主。她以視覺作為自身情感及環境之間的溝通，而藝術創作為創造記憶及空間的途徑。她透過觀察現實中不同的課題及畫面，建構糅合個人情感及經歷的空間。她在創作中使用不同的繪畫方式，發揮物料的各種可能性，並探索顏色和物料的本質。她認為創作是探索自身和誠實面對自己的過程，亦希望透過藝術實現想像中的風景。 Sammi Mak Wing-sum was born in Hong Kong. She graduated from the Academy of Visual Arts, Hong Kong Baptist University. With printmaking and painting, she focuses on depicting everyday scenery and landscape with personal emotions. For Mak, artmaking is about creating memories and spaces. Through observing the reality, she constructs spaces that merge personal emotions with experiences. Her works embody processes of experimentation, as she often tests out the possibilities of various materials and colours.
