Biography
Ria “Air” Garcia is an American cartoonist and MFA graduate of the Center for Cartoon Studies (cartoonstudies.org). Specializing in abstract and experimental comics, her work has been published in various anthologies in North America and Europe. Though often whimsical in nature, Garcia prides herself in constantly pushing her work towards a path of mastery. Her current large-scale project is a semi-autobiographical graphic novel focusing on the intersection of spirituality and transness.
