Biography
Matheus da Rocha Montanari is a Brazilian artist and researcher based in Porto Alegre. He is a doctoral candidate in Visual Arts -Multimedia at the University of São Paulo (ECA-USP), where he is part of the Digital Poetics research group. Matheus has an interdisciplinary background in digital technologies and visual arts, his work investigates and creates possibilities of intersection and symbiotic relationship between these fields. Currently, he develops works subverting the algorithmic logic for poetic creation, he is interested in topics such as data aesthetics, biotechnodiversities, (non-)human-computer interactions, and Information v.
