Marianne Sice is a multidisciplinary artist and musician from Newcastle-Upon-Tyne After spending many years torn between music and art, she has spent the last five years working to explore the connections between the two (which has ultimately lead her on a journey and discovery of her love of performance art) via her studies (Graduating from a BA in Music, Newcastle University, 2018) and artist residencies (e.g. with world renowned Scottish composer Anna Meredith , Handcoded Arts Collective Barcelona and Tinderbox Collective, Edinburgh) and has had her work displayed and performed at a regional, national and International level.
Welcome to Concrete House .art which features curated pavilions and an exhibition of digital artists selected through an open call. The curated pavilions include Ars Electronica’s partners, .ART’s artist in residence Medina Kasimova and a selection of work from .ART’s and Arlekin Players Theatre’s collaborative project ZeroGravity.art, directed by Igor Golyak and featuring the renowned choreographer and actor Mikhail Baryshnikov. Concrete House .art participants join the space for playful reflections on the creation of virtual environments.
