Kirill Makarov is an artist born in 1988 in Leningrad. He graduated from the St. Petersburg Stieglitz State Academy of Art and ""Industry. His first personal exhibition ‘The Secret Level’ took place in 2011. Kirill’s first exhibition of paintings was presented in Moscow at the Start venue of the Winzavod Center for Contemporary Art (2013). The ‘Elbow Room’ project shown as part of the parallel program of the European Manifesto Biennale in St. Petersburg in 2014, marked the artist’s passion for the latest media: in his art he tries to synthesize digital image with painting""
Welcome to Concrete House .art which features curated pavilions and an exhibition of digital artists selected through an open call. The curated pavilions include Ars Electronica’s partners, .ART’s artist in residence Medina Kasimova and a selection of work from .ART’s and Arlekin Players Theatre’s collaborative project ZeroGravity.art, directed by Igor Golyak and featuring the renowned choreographer and actor Mikhail Baryshnikov. Concrete House .art participants join the space for playful reflections on the creation of virtual environments.
