Biography

Inhwa Yeom is an XR researcher and media artist. She creates XR-based interactive systems for including historical minorities to medical, creative and learning experiences in 3D virtual environments. As a researcher, her proposed systems and academic writings have been accepted or presented at IEEE VR 2021, HCI Korea 2020 and 2021. As an artist, her works were exhibited at Ars Electronica .ART Gallery 2020, Ars Electronica Festival 2019, ISEA 2019, Gyenggi Millennium Docufesta 2018 and more, with sponsorship from Asia Culture Centre, Seoul Museum of Art, Arts Council Korea, and more.

CONCRETE HOUSE

Welcome to Concrete House .art which features curated pavilions and an exhibition of digital artists selected through an open call. The curated pavilions include Ars Electronica’s partners, .ART’s artist in residence Medina Kasimova and a selection of work from .ART’s and Arlekin Players Theatre’s collaborative project ZeroGravity.art, directed by Igor Golyak and featuring the renowned choreographer and actor Mikhail Baryshnikov. Concrete House .art participants join the space for playful reflections on the creation of virtual environments.
