Hye Yeon Nam
Hye Yeon Nam is a digital media artist exploring how technology can improve our interactions with other agents - humans, robots, or nature. She has participated in exhibitions, festivals, and showcases at ARS Electronica Center, Smithsonian National Portrait Gallery, Asia Society Texas Center, and Japanese American National Museum. Brendan Harmon is a designer whose research aims to ground design in spatial science by seamlessly integrating geospatial modeling into the creative design process through technologies. Michael Pasquier is the producer of the podcast Coastal Voices, an audio documentary series that explores the relationship between people, land, and water in coastal Louisiana.
Welcome to Concrete House .art which features curated pavilions and an exhibition of digital artists selected through an open call. The curated pavilions include Ars Electronica’s partners, .ART’s artist in residence Medina Kasimova and a selection of work from .ART’s and Arlekin Players Theatre’s collaborative project ZeroGravity.art, directed by Igor Golyak and featuring the renowned choreographer and actor Mikhail Baryshnikov. Concrete House .art participants join the space for playful reflections on the creation of virtual environments.
