hasaqui yamanobe was born in 1982, and he now lives in Yokohama, Japan. In 2009, he graduated from the Graduate School of Fine Arts, Tokyo University of Arts, where he studied aesthetics as a field of philosophy, especially "Laocoon" by the 18th century German thinker G.E. Lessing. Since then, he has continued to be interested in "Laocoön" and the genealogy of its influences, and in the second half of 2016, he started working with the intention of moving "Towards a Newest Laocoön".
Welcome to Concrete House .art which features curated pavilions and an exhibition of digital artists selected through an open call. The curated pavilions include Ars Electronica’s partners, .ART’s artist in residence Medina Kasimova and a selection of work from .ART’s and Arlekin Players Theatre’s collaborative project ZeroGravity.art, directed by Igor Golyak and featuring the renowned choreographer and actor Mikhail Baryshnikov. Concrete House .art participants join the space for playful reflections on the creation of virtual environments.
