A London-based artist, filmmaker & lecturer (b. 1969, Israel) creating digital works since 2001. A BA in Film from Tel-Aviv University in 1997, a MA in Media Studies in 2001 from The New School University, New York, USA. Artwork is characterised by processing personal recordings, found footage, and mixes of both, by 'glitch, Artificial Intelligence and other digital technologies. The videos have won awards and been shown in numerous festivals, art venues and online platforms worldwide including Ars Electronica 2020 Global Gallery
Welcome to Concrete House .art which features curated pavilions and an exhibition of digital artists selected through an open call. The curated pavilions include Ars Electronica’s partners, .ART’s artist in residence Medina Kasimova and a selection of work from .ART’s and Arlekin Players Theatre’s collaborative project ZeroGravity.art, directed by Igor Golyak and featuring the renowned choreographer and actor Mikhail Baryshnikov. Concrete House .art participants join the space for playful reflections on the creation of virtual environments.
