Jessica Fu is a Hong Kong based Canadian Artist. She received her Master of Fine Arts from The School of the Art Institute of Chicago (SAIC). She experiments with formlessness material and its metaphor to ask the philosophical question, “What is reality” through site-specific works. The work is an alternative space that mirrors the inner world. Her work has been exhibited internationally since 2010. She has awarded various grants included, The Canada Council for the Arts and Home Affairs Bureau of Hong Kong. She teaches at Hong Kong Metropolitan University (HKMU).
Welcome to Concrete House .art which features curated pavilions and an exhibition of digital artists selected through an open call. The curated pavilions include Ars Electronica’s partners, .ART’s artist in residence Medina Kasimova and a selection of work from .ART’s and Arlekin Players Theatre’s collaborative project ZeroGravity.art, directed by Igor Golyak and featuring the renowned choreographer and actor Mikhail Baryshnikov. Concrete House .art participants join the space for playful reflections on the creation of virtual environments.
