Andyknives

Andyknives(Andrew Ives) is an Australian photographer/3d artist. Spending 5 years living in Hong Kong, dedicated to capturing moments of life on the streets of Hong Kong. Night time, rainy streets, dirty alleys and the rapidly disappearing neon signs became the focus of his work, spending many nights out past dark. Hoping to preserve the look and feel of the rapidly evolving city through photographs, Andrew draws inspiration from media such as Ghost in the Shell and Blade Runner, and classic photographers such as Fan ho and Greg Girard. Now living back in Australia, Andrew is waiting out the pandemic, hoping to return to Hong Kong once international travel resumes.
