Ana Vrtačnik

Ana Vrtačnik is a contemporary artist who lives and creates in Novi Sad, Serbia. She completed her Bachelor and Master studies of Painting at the Department of Fine Arts at the Academy of Art in Novi Sad. She is currently working on her doctoral theses about bio-mimetic formations and its applicability in visual arts. Up to date she has had solo and group exhibitions, collaborations and publications with different artists, curators, institutions and galleries all over the world (China, Switzerland, Belgium, Denmark, Austria, the United States, Portugal, Brazil, Canada, Spain…). She has won several awards in the field of art ( Foundation Milivoj Nikolajević, Foundation Mali Princ, award for the best artwork at the department of Painting at the Academy of Arts in Novi Sad, Award for best design at Sterijino Pozorje festival, Award from the University of Novi Sad for accomplishments in visual art…)
