Ana Maria Maravić

Born on May 17, 1995, in Zagreb, she attended the High School of Applied Arts and Design in 2010, where she graduated in Sculpture in 2014. In the same year, she enrolled at the Academy of Fine Arts in Zagreb, majoring in Sculpture, and in 2016 she went to the class of ac. prof. Damir Mataušić, majoring in Small Sculpture and Medal Making, where she graduated in 2021. In 2019 she has her first solo exhibition Dancing Through Life (Ples kroz život) in the library of Marija Jurić Zagorka in Zagreb. In 2021, in collaboration with the artist Vita Jončić, she exhibited the interactive installation My House Hurts (Boli me kuća) in the gallery of Matica Hrvatska in Zagreb, and in the Urban Park HD Karlovac. She has participated in many group exhibitions such as 2019. Ivo Kerdić Memorial-Triennial of Croatian Medalmaking and Small Sculpture, Museum of Fine Arts in Osijek, 2019. Art Zagreb, Technical Museum in Zagreb, 2018. Venietis, Šira Gallery, in Zagreb, project Around (Okolo) in Zagreb, and many others. She has also participated in many art colonies such as the 2019 Land Art Earth Art in Ozalj and Jakovlje, and with this project, she is one of the winners of the Rector's Award. She also won the award for best sculpture, Erste fragmenti 2020, Ships (Brodovi) award of the Academy of Fine Arts students for the synergy of fine and plant arts 2021, FloraArt. In addition to sculpture, she is also involved in animation and works in various group projects.
