This was found in the "Necropolis of the N.E. Wall”, used by the indigenous population during the initial stage of the Phocaean installation in Emporion. It is evidence of the arrival, through trade, of prestigious objects that were also distributed in the immediate area. The jars and the kantharoi or cups of bucchero nero pottery accompanied the distribution of wine from ancient Etruria, which was important in this archaic period. 3D Model: UAB Open Labs
